A union which represents 200 firefighter paramedics in Dublin Fire Brigade is meeting today to consider new measures relating to ambulances.

Paramedics' union meet on new ambulance plan

A union which represents 200 firefighter paramedics in Dublin Fire Brigade is meeting today to consider new measures relating to ambulances.

The IMPACT trade union said the proposals would see the HSE's National Ambulance Service take responsibility for all emergency calls in the Dublin region.

IMPACT said its members will coordinate their response with SIPTU members in Dublin Fire Brigade.
