Two Dublin men have appeared in court charged in connection with the robbery of an off license in the west of the city.

Two Dublin men have appeared in court charged in connection with the robbery of an off license in the west of the city.

Patrick Smith, of Riverwood Crescent in Carpenterstown, was released on bail with a security of €800.

The 21-year-old must sign on three times a week at Blanchardstown Garda Station and will appear in court again on March 5.

Michael Corr, of Druid Court, Poppintree in Ballymun, was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court this Friday.

Elsewhere, two other Dublin men have appeared in Swords District Court charged in connection with the robbery of a shop in Lusk on Saturday night.

Ciaran Keogh (aged 49) of Ardeevin Guest House in Swords, and 45-year-old Derek Lynch, of James Larkin Flats in the North Strand, were remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
