PAC ordered to hand documents to former Rehab boss Angela Kerins
The Public Accounts Committee has been ordered to hand over documents to former Rehab boss Angela Kerins as part of her case that the spending watchdog conducted a "witchhunt" against her.
Ms Kerins is suing PAC for damages following her appearance before the committee in February last year.
Former Rehab CEO Angela Kerins was asked about her six-figure salary, her car and bonus entitlements at last year's appearance before the committee.
The one-time boss of the disability group is now suing PAC, alleging that the spending watchdog acted unfairly, showed bias and had no power to grill her about the Rehab Group.
Ms Kerins claims she was publically degraded and suffered ill health as a result and she wants details of her appearance struck from the record.
The PAC has stated that the payments investigated involved the expenditure of public funds.
Today Ms Justice Isobel Kennedy directed the watchdog to hand over documents and minutes of meetings where Rehab was discussed - documents Angela Kerins believes will advance her case.
