Senior members of both the Orange Order and the Catholic Church have held talks in Belfast.

The meeting comes ahead the start of the North's marching season.

Among those involved in the talks were the Catholic Bishop of Down and Connor, Noel Treanor and the Grand Master of the Orange Order, Edward Stevenson.

Both sides say the two-hour meeting helped in developing mutual respect and understanding for both traditions.
