Opposition criticises scope of Siteserv inquiry
Opposition leaders have again said that the planned inquiry into the sale of SiteServ does not go far enough.
Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin have again raised concerns about the plans during Leaders' Questions in the Dáil.
The Taoiseach insists that a retired High Court judge will make sure there are no conflicts of interest in how the inquiry is handled.
But Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams said the inquiry needs to deal with the Department of Finance's concerns with IBRC, and why the were withheld from the Dáil.
"For three years now, the serious concerns at this Department of Finance were kept form the Dáil, and from citizens, despite a large amount of questions from TDs here … who were stonewalled by Minister Noonan," he said.
"Why did he withhold information from the Dáil?"
