Online property price site registers 42,000 hits in one day

Ireland's new property price register got nearly 42,000 hits in its first day online.

Between early afternoon and midnight on Sunday, 444,000 pages were viewed, and curious users spent an average of 11 minutes on the site each.

The website currently allows them to see the sale price of every property since January 2010, but there are plans to increase the amount of information available.
