One4All denies social-media rumours of financial difficulties

The company behind the One 4 All gift cards says it is not experiencing financial difficulties, despite a "baseless rumour" to the contrary.

The Gift Voucher Shop, which is the company behind the One4all brand, said social media rumours that the company was in trouble were "totally without foundation and untrue".

The company assured customers that One 4 All gift cards and vouchers continued to be fully redeemable in more than 5,300 outlets nationwide.

In a statement this evening, the company said that it recorded a 14% increase in annual turnover to over €150m last year, which follows similar double-digit growth in each of the past five years, and said it was on track for continued growth this year.

One tweet said: "One4All rumoured to be going into liquidation tomorrow. Anyone with vouchers might want to get shopping."
