77-year-old man released without charge after Limerick stabbing


A 77-year-old man, arrested in connection with a stabbing in Limerick, has been released without charge.

Gardaí are still investigating the incident in which a 45-year-old man was stabbed repeatedly in a pub in the town of Hospital at about 6pm yesterday evening.

The victim is said to be in a critical condition.
