Man dies in N4 traffic accident
13/04/2012 - 15:39:57Gardaí at Mullingar, Co Westmeath are today investigating a fatal two-car traffic accident.
The collision occurred at approximately 1pm today on the N4 (Mullingar bypass in the townland of Collemore).
A male driver in his 60s, the only occupant of one of the cars, was fatally injured.
The driver of the other car, a female in her 30s, along with three children (boys) were injured, none seriously. They were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
The road is currently closed for a forensic collision examination, and diversions are in place.
