Oireachtas seek public submissions on future of Post Office network
The Oireachtas is reminding the public that it is seeking submissions on the future of the Post Office network by this Friday evening.
The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications wants to hear about the effects closures and changes in the role of post offices would have on communities and on individuals throughout the country.
They are also looking to hear about any practical initiatives that might sustain the post office network.
The committee will consider written submissions and may decide to invite a number of contributors to public hearings on the matter.
