Oireachtas committee to hold talks on rising energy costs
04/03/2006 - 13:44:42The Oireachtas committee on natural resources is to discuss Ireland's rising energy costs at a meeting next week.
Gas and electricity prices have both increased substantially in the past 18 months due to the rising international cost of oil.
The Competition Authority and the Consumers' Association are among the groups due to make submissions to next week's meeting.
