Over 2,000 litres of oil have leaked onto open land in Limerick.
The spill at Tornafulla came from a tank that is situated on the land.
Limerick County Council is on site and at this stage does not expect any risk to water supplies in the area.

Authorities have said that there is no immediate risk to animals.
Environmental experts have been called to assist in the clean up operation.
"The oil appears to have been contained within the ground close to where it spilt out, we are digging trenches to intercept any flow that could come off the site," said Tom Tarpey, an engineer with Limerick City and County Council
"we have no indication at all that it got to any water course but we are taking all precautions.2
