NSAI urge Irish consumers to check online purchases

All toys bought online should be thoroughly checked for loose screws and missing parts before being given to children.

The National Standards Authority of Ireland has said all toys should bear the CE mark to ensure they have met EU safety standards.

It is also warning Irish consumers to ensure the website they are shopping on is trustworthy.
