North Dublin regeneration project abandoned
10/12/2008 - 17:47:06Dublin City Council has been forced to abandon a regeneration project near Croke Park in Dublin, it emerged this afternoon.
The council said that although a preferred bidder had been chosen, negotiations for the public-private project had broken down.
The current economic slump was given as the reason for the problem.
The council said it remained fully committed to the regeneration of the area, and would examine other options for the site.
