Noonan: It's a good day for taking stock
Minister Michael Noonan is on his feet and has started delivering his speech for Budget 2013.
"It's a good day for taking stock," he said. "We will not dither or procastinate, we will drive forward and lead the country out of this."
Spending cuts and tax hikes worth €3.5bn will be announced today, which Government leaders insist will bring the country a step closer to economic independence and growth.
