The Dáil has heard that the top rate of income tax will be cut from 41% to 40%.

The Dáil has heard that the top rate of income tax will be cut from 41% to 40%.

Michael Noonan has also said that the Income Tax Standard Rate Band will increase by €1,000 to €33,800 for a single person.

He said that the Income tax changes will cost the Government €585m.
