Defeated Presidential Election Candidate Sean Gallagher said that he has "no regrets" about running for the Áras, despite his downfall in the final TV debate and controversy over his Fianna Fáil past.
The former 'Dragon's Den' TV star has not commented on the fallout of the presidential election since the broadcasting Authority of Ireland upheld complaints over a bogus tweet about him on RTÉ's 'Frontline' presidential debate.
Promoting National Supported Employment Week on Clare FM today, Sean Gallagher said the campaign was an "absolutely wonderful" experience.
"Well, Michael D is a fine man and I'm sure he will continue to do a fine job as president,
"I'm very pragmatic and I'm very positive in life, I have no regrets whatsoever, it was absolutely wonderful and it encouraged me greatly to see all the great people that were out there around the country.
"Despite all the negativity we're facing, I have confidence because I know at the heart of the Irish people we have everything we need in order to turn this country around."
