No arrests at demonstration in solidarity with Jobstown protesters

Gardaí have confirmed that no arrests were made after protesters gathered outside a Garda station in Dublin yesterday evening.

Around 80 people congregated outside Tallaght Garda Station to show solidarity with those who face criminal charges after a separate protest last year.

Last week, it was revealed that up to 23 people, including TD Paul Murphy, face various charges after a water charge protest in Jobstown last year.

Tánaiste Joan Burton was in her car for over two hours during the incident.
