A new poll has found that Fianna Fáil was the most popular party in the run-up to this week's Budget announcement.
The poll was taken between the 1-12 of October, in the run-up to and immediately after the announcement of the Budget this week.
The survey by Behaviour and Attitudes for the Sunday Times puts Micheal Martin's party on 30% - up two, while Fine Gael trail behind on 26 points - up three.
Many of the other opposition parties have fallen in popularity since the last poll, Sinn Fein is down one point to 17, Labour is down one to five, while Independents and Others are down one point to 23.
