An alternative coalition of Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin is as popular with the electorate as the current Government, according to a new poll.
A Millward-Brown opinion poll to be published in tomorrow's Sunday Independent also shows Fianna Fáil making gains despite the publication of the 'Anglo Tapes'.
The party goes up two points to 29% this month and opens up a three-point lead on Fine Gael, which drops a point to 26%.
Labour drops to just 8% - compared to its general election performance in 2011 of 19%.
Sinn Féin goes up to 19% - almost double the result it achieved in the election.
And Independents and Others are also on 19%.
Three in four are unhappy with the coalition's performance - up again from last month - and Tánaiste and Labour leader Eamon Gilmore continues to fall foul of the electorate with just 16% believing he should stay in his job.
Meanwhile a Fianna Fáil - Sinn Féin coalition on 11% now finds as much favour with voters as the current Government.
More than half of voters also feel the Seanad should be abolished.
