High street fashion chain New Look is to create 121 jobs with a new store in Dublin city centre, it was revealed today.
The flagship outlet in the Jervis Centre is due to open in early November and will be the company’s biggest shop out of more than 1,000 worldwide.
The jobs will be made up of 110 sales positions and the rest in management.
Brian Montgomery, regional sales manager, said: “New Look is delighted to have secured not only our long-awaited Irish flagship store, but also to be opening our largest store globally.
“New Look has been looking for a Dublin site for some time now and the Jervis Centre opportunity allows us the space to deliver not only our enviable store concept, but an unrivalled fashion offer to Dublin and the many visitors this beautiful city attracts.”
The new 30,000 sq ft store will take over part of the former Arnotts Project store in the Jervis Centre.
It will be New Look’s 29th store in Ireland and takes the company’s workforce to almost 1,000.
