Details have been announced of a new chief executive and board of governors at the Central Remedial Clinic.
Stephanie Manahan has been confirmed as the clinic's new CEO. She will take up the post on June 1.
She is a qualified occupational therapist and has worked in many different healthcare settings, both acute and community based.
“The remuneration committee looked at the remuneration package for the salary for the individual and brought that to the board in a fully transparent way,” said Kieran Timmins, the new Chair of the CRC board.
“I don’t have the exact figure in front of me, it’s approximately €86,000 and that’s the full package – there’s no top-ups, no additional allowances, nothing.
“€86,571 - approximately.”
A statement said that all of the new board members will serve on a voluntary basis and will receive no remuneration.
Previous board members resigned in December of last year, following controversy over the running of the clinic.
