Netwatch is creating 50 new jobs at its HQ in Carlow this year, it was announced today.

The move will bringing total employment high-tech security firm to more than 160 people.

Roles currently being recruited for include sales and marketing, customer service, admin, installation and service, as well as opportunities for Intervention Specialists in Netwatch’s Communications Hub.

In addition, opportunities will also be available at the company’s two regional offices in the US, Boston and New York, and in the UK hub.

David Walsh, CEO of Netwatch Ireland said: “As our international expansion continues we have been subsequently able to grow our team both here in Carlow and across our regional hubs.

“Since the opening of our New York office in 2013, we have gone from strength to strength.

“For every 50 contracts we win in the US, we create 10 new jobs in Carlow.

“Our vision is to double the size of the company every three years and we are well on our way to achieving this.

“Investment in innovation and R&D has been key to our success, and it has given us a competitive edge, particularly in the US market. We are constantly innovating and devising new technologies to improve our service offering to our clients.”

In 2013, Netwatch expanded their US operations, opening a second office, this time in New York.

As a result of the opening, 10 new positions were created in New York, as well as 20 new roles at the company’s communications hub in Carlow.

Netwatch monitor in excess of 33,000 security cameras at both commercial and residential sites across the globe from its Communications Hub in Carlow.

The company currently deploys video processing technologies to more than 2,500 businesses throughout Ireland including retail, warehousing, logistics, construction, multinational companies as well as energy generation sites.
