We will get an insight today into what we can expect as part of some of the 1916 commemorations.

The National Museum is holding a series of talks previewing its special 2016 exhibition: ‘Proclaiming a Republic’.

Experts from the organisation will present their plans for next year in the hopes of getting feedback from members of the public.

The talks get underway at 10am this morning at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks.
