The €1.6bn sale of Nama's Northern Ireland loan book is expected to be discussed when officials from the agency appear before the Public Accounts Committee today.

Members of the Northern Ireland Assembly Finance Committee are also expected to attend the hearing.

Last night, the Department of Finance released documents relating to the sale of the Project Eagle loans.

They include the log of a conference call between Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness, the Finance Minister Michael Noonan and the North's First Minister Peter Robinson during which the Project Eagle loan book was discussed.
