Arnotts in Dublin has removed a t-shirt showing two children watching a pole dancer with their father, after hundreds of complaints were registered with the department store.
The t-shirt, which carries the slogan "My First Pole Dance", was brought to the attention of Ruhama - an organisation that works with women in prostitution.
Really surprised to see @ArnottsDublin selling these T-shirts. #normalisationofsextrade #objectificationofwomen pic.twitter.com/k04CjXInhx

A huge number of complaints were lodged with the store, after Ruhama posted it on their Facebook page.
Ruhama's Communication Manager Geradine Rowley says the t-shirt is extremely concerning:
"It was normalising the purchase of sexual services, it was marketing towards young people – it's very concerning," she said.
"It was sending out a message to young boys that this is ok, it's just a bit of fun."
