Murder weapon found in Waterford killing
23/04/2006 - 15:58:47A weapon has been recovered which is thought to have been used to murder a man in Waterford City yesterday.
60-year-old James Purcell - originally from Kilkenny - was found dead in a flat in Waterford city yesterday.
Detectives investigating the case say Mr Purcell had marks and signs of trauma on his neck.
He had not been seen for three weeks before his body was discovered in his home in Henrietta Street.
