A man in Cork has become the second male motorcyclist to lose his life on the country's roads in less than 24 hours.

A man in Cork has become the second male motorcyclist to lose his life on the country's roads in less than 24 hours.

He was fatally injured when his bike collided with a wall at Garryhesta on the Cork to Macroom road, at around a 5.15pm.

Earlier today a fifty year old man was killed, after his motorcycle collided with a car near Roundwood in County Wicklow.
