Motorcyclist dies after crash
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogehda
A motorcyclist has died in hospital after he was seriously injured in a road accident.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle collision on the R165 at Dromcondrath, Co Meath, at 6.30pm yesterday.
The victim, in his 20s, was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where he was later pronounced dead.
The road was closed overnight for a technical examination but has since re-opened.
