Missing woman Karen Scott has been located safe and well today in Dublin city centre.

Missing woman Karen Scott has been located safe and well today in Dublin city centre.

The 44-year-old, who has Down Syndrome, was reported missing from her Finglas home after she left last Friday afternoon with a red suitcase.

There were several reported sightings, including at Penneys in Patrick Street in Cork, and near a licensed premises located on Burgh Quay, Dublin.

Gardaí expressed concern for Karen at the time, given her special needs and the fact that she had not previously travelled outside Dublin city, as far as gardaí were aware.
