Missing child found safe

UPDATE 20:15: Gardaí cancelled the CRI Alert as Saleem and Hassan Khan have both been found safe and well.

"The Gardaí wish to express their thanks to all members of the public and media for their assistance in this matter," the force said in a statement. "An Garda Síochána would request that the Khan Family's privacy is respected."

Gardaí issued an appeal to the public for information to help trace the whereabouts of two-year-old Hassan Khan, who was missing from his home in Ballybrack, Dublin.

He was believed to be with his 61-year-old father, Saleem. Following a rapidly-spreading social media information appeal, Gardaí cancelled the alert as both were found safe.
