A Minister was delayed from leaving an event in Dublin today by anti-water charges protestors.

A Minister was delayed from leaving a public event in Dublin today by anti-water charges protestors.

Education minister Jan O'Sullivan was delayed for 40 minutes by protestors at Gaelcholaiste Reachrann in Donaghmede.

A spokesman said the Minister was delayed by about a dozen protestors, but was able to leave through another exit.

He added that the protest had been "peaceful" and the Minister went on to visit two more schools.
