Minister called to intervene in college dispute
There has been a call for the Minister for Education Jan O'Sullivan to intervene in the dispute over the merger of St. Angela's College of Education with NUIG.
The merger is due to be completed by the end of March, but staff at St. Angela's are concerned that protection of their terms and conditions are not being discussed by the authorities in both colleges.
The strike has been called by their union, the TUI.
