Mini-heatwave on way
Temperatures are expected soar in to the high 20s next week.
Met Éireann is forecasting a "mini-heatwave" with high pressure to the east keeping the rain at bay.
Temperatures may even reach 29 degrees in some parts.
However, meteorologist John Eagleton said this high pressure brought with it the risk of thundery showers.
"Temperatures will take a jump next week, with a mini-heatwave by the middle of next week, up to 26C next Wednesday. That carries the risk of showers breaking out in the heat," he said.
On Tuesday, early morning mist and drizzle will clear, with good sunshine developing and becoming warm by afternoon with highs of 20C to 24C in light southeasterly breezes.
Wednesday: will be a warm sunny day with temperatures up to 26C in places. However, isolated thundersorms will break out in the afternoon or evening.
Thursday will stay warm with hazy sunshine, but will also see more widespread showers or thunderstorms.
