Ireland in top three of Europe's worst climate offenders
07/12/2007 - 11:08:05Ireland has been identified as one of only three European countries with a "very poor" performance rating on climate change.
The rating is contained in a report published today at the latest round of UN climate negotiations in Bali.
The report says Luxembourg and Cyprus are the only two European countries with a worse performance than Ireland.
The Bali talks are aimed at agreeing a framework that will cut global greenhouse gas emissions when the Kyoto Agreement expires in 2012.
