MEPs back Irish farmer's campaign

An Irish farmer has got the backing of MEPs in Brussels for his campaign to find out why his animals have stunted growth, weight loss and poor milk yields.

The European Parliament's Petitions Committee has been hearing the case of Dan Brennan from Kilkenny.

He claims toxic chemicals have been found in the animals' blood.

MEPs agreed to investigate the matter and there could even be a European Parliament resolution about the issue.
