Medical devices firm to create 50 jobs in Roscommon

Fifty new jobs are to be created in Roscommon town.

The positions will come on stream at medical devices firm Moss Vision, which is setting up a facility at the IDA Business Park.

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton has welcomed the announcement, saying it is a great boost for Roscommon and the entire West region.

Local Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan told Shannonside FM it is a great boost for the area.

"It's a massive injection for Roscommon town and the county - it's clear evidence that the Government's jobs plan is now starting to work for this part of the country," he said.

"I'm absolutely delighted that 50 extra jobs will be provided in Roscommon and Co Roscommon."
