McGuinness wants all-island vote in presidential election

The North's deputy first minister Martin McGuinness has called for the people of the North to be allowed to vote in presidential elections in the Republic.

In his speech to the MacGill Summer School in Glenties, Martin McGuinness said there should be a national debate on Irish unity.

He called for an end to the duplication of bodies to promote sport, arts, tourism and investment on both sides of the border.
