McGrath: Cuts to Garda resources cannot continue
Independent TD Mattie McGrath has hit out at the government, saying their cuts to Garda resources cannot continue.
The TD said that older people are now especially vulnerable in their homes, as they are reluctant to place their savings in banks.
His comments come after a series of robberies and attacks on elderly people in their homes over the last number of weeks.
