McGinley set to be named as junior minister

The new Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan has revealed that Donegal TD Dinny McGinley will be named as junior minister in his department.

The new Minister for Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan has revealed that Donegal TD Dinny McGinley will be named as junior minister in his department.

Deputy Deenihan made the remarks ahead of the first formal Cabinet meeting in Government Buildings this morning.

It is understood that Mr Kenny may name his full Junior Cabinet lineup within the next two hours in time to send ministers abroad for St Patrick's Day.
