McFeely: My family 'on the side of the road'

Priory Hall developer Tom McFeely has claimed in the High Court that his wife and children are on the side of the road.

Mr McFeely told the High Court he believes when his appeal is heard he will be immediately back in his house on Ailesbury Road.

He claims his wife and children are on the side of the road because an officer of the court lied about alternative accommodation.

The controversial developer's family was forced from the Ballsbridge property on August 10 by the Dublin City Sheriff on behalf of Nama for defaulting on a €9.5m mortgage.

The former IRA hunger striker told the High Court he has had to dismiss his lawyer for financial reasons but he has contacted a senior counsel who is prepared to represent him.

The case has been put back until next week when a hearing date may be set.
