McCabe access to PULSE system restored

Whistleblower Sergeant Maurice McCabe’s access to the Garda PULSE system has been restored following the publication of the Guerin Report.

Sergeant McCabe has been denied access to the computer system for the past 18 months.

However, following the publication of the report into allegations of garda misconduct, which led to the resignation of Justice Minister Alan Shatter, Interim Garda Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan told the Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald that Sergeant McCabe's access to the Pulse system was to being restored immediately.
