Mandate calls on Roches Stores to reopen Wilton branch
08/10/2006 - 19:08:19The Mandate trade union is calling on Roches Stores to re-open its shop in Cork city.
The union's national executive is calling on the company to honour its responsibilities to staff at the Wilton Centre branch.
The store has been closed because of a row over the transfer of the lease to Marks and Spencer.
M&S, who said they would keep the 172 Roches' staff on, have since pulled out of the deal putting the jobs at risk.
