Man to appear in court in connection with cannabis seizure
05/07/2009 - 12:02:16A man in his 30s will appear in court in Dublin tomorrow, charged in connection with the seizure of €250,000 worth of cannabis herb.
He was arrested after gardaí stopped a car on the Naas Road near Rathcoole on Friday evening and recovered €180,000 worth of the drug.
A further €72,000 worth of cannabis herb was seized in a follow up search in Drogheda in Co. Louth.
The man remains in custody at Blanchardstown garda station and will appear at Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
