Man still in custody in connection with Drogheda murder

A 31-year-old man remains in garda custody in Co Louth this morning in connection with the murder of another man in Drogheda yesterday.

The man is being questioned about the stabbing of 38-year-old Martin Murray at an apartment building in the Mill Lane area of Drogheda.

A woman in her 30s who was discovered with serious head injuries in a flat close to where Mr Murray’s body was found remains in a stable condition in hospital.
