A male pedestrian has been seriously injured in a collision with a bus in Dublin city centre this evening.

A male pedestrian has been seriously injured in a collision with a bus in Dublin city centre this evening.

It happened on Nassau St during rush hour.

Gardaí have closed roads close to the Nassau St./Dawson St. junction and are diverting traffic. There is also no access to St. Stephen's Green from Cuffe St.

Meanwhile, Dublin Bus are diverting northbound buses via St. Stephen's Green and southbound buses via Kildare St.

Expect very heavy delays in the area as a result, especially on Dame St and College Green.
