A man has been seriously injured in a crash in Donegal.

A man has been seriously injured in a crash in Donegal.

The 23-year-old was driving a car which collided with a wall at Drumnahoe, about 2kms from Letterkenny shortly before 1am today.

No one else was in the car at the time. The driver has been taken to Letterkenny General Hospital for treatment.

The road is closed for a technical examination and a diversion's in place with motorists being advised to use the Cullion road until further notice.
