A 24-year-old man has died following a crash in Co Kerry.

A 24-year-old man has died following a crash in Co Kerry.

The crash happened on the N69 Tralee to Listowel Road at Glenballyma in Tralee shortly before 10pm last night.

The man, who was alone in the car, was fatally injured when thevehicle left the road and collided with a wall.

He was pronounced dead at scene and his body was removed to Kerry General Hospital.

A post mortem is to be arranged.

The road was closed for a period of time, but has since re-opened.

Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Tralee garda station.
