A 19-year-old man has died in a two-car crash in Co Wexford.

A 19-year-old man has died in a two-car crash in Co Wexford.

The victim was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision at Rathnure Upper in Enniscorthy at around 2.20am this morning.

He was later pronounced dead at St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin.

A male passenger in the car was injured in the crash as was a woman driving the other vehicle. She was the only occupant.

Both have injuries that are described as minor.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
