Man killed in Kerry housefire
An investigation is underway into the cause of a fatal housefire in Co Kerry.
The alarm was raised at Ardaw, Beaufort in Killorglin at about 2am today.
Firefighters discovered the body of a man in his late 50s inside after battling the blaze.
His remains have been taken to Kerry General Hospital. A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out to determine what caused his death.
Gardaí are not treating the fire as suspicious at this stage.
